This book is an absolute gem. It harkens back to the days before childrens authors felt the need to fill their stories with the miserable detail of everyday life. Instead, the author has created a charming story about the adventures of a lonely creature far from home and the perils that he endures before finding true happiness. For lovers of Paddington, the Wombles et al buy this book and enjoy!
